The Two; I
They stood a foot apart,
Nose to nose,
It seemed from the side and a few yards out.
He peered at her,
Barely,
From behind a pair of red-shaded sunglasses.
Her lips were like an ashen rose,
Pale,
But vital.
They part,
“You're sure intimidating.”,
She said, studying him,
Eyes surveying him like a grid pattern laid across his body.
He laughed,
But not a serious one,
More like a half,
And he said,
“Me? I'm the least Intimidating person you could ever know.”
He paused,
A breeze passed between them,
And then a smile crept across his thin lips,
And studying him again,
She waited.
“I suppose that's why I gotta look it.”
A moment,
Two,
She stepped back an inch,
Then two,
And she said,
“Well, you certainly do.”
